The kinetiQsport guide
Everything the app does, screen by screen, and what every number means. For grassroots and amateur soccer coaches: 11-a-side, 7-a-side and individual player tracking.
During the match
Pick the format
Soccer 11 and Soccer 7 track the whole team; Soccer 1 follows a single player with a heatmap of where each action happened.
Log what happens
One tap on the player, one on the action: goals, shots, good and bad passes, steals, corners, fouls, cards and substitutions. Every action is saved with its minute. You can also dictate them by voice.
The AI report
At half-time and full-time you get an automatic report: what is working, what to fix, a rating for every player and the substitution the AI suggests. You can ask for an analysis at any moment of the match.
Match flow
A chart in 5-minute blocks shows when your team was on top and when it suffered, with goals, cards and substitutions marked above it.
Warnings before you pick the line-up
The app flags players with 180+ minutes in 7 days, players on 4 yellow cards in the last 5 matches (one away from a ban) and players who were just injured.
Corners
After each corner you can note how it ended (goal, shot or cleared), so you can see how many corners your team converts across the season.
After the match: your coach area
This area is everything around the match. The tracker records what happens on the pitch; here you read what it added up to, and what to train next.
Dashboard
Opens on the last match you recorded — the result, how the team performed, and the AI report one tap away. Below it: every team you manage, what needs attention before the next match, and how this training week is going.
Teams
One team’s whole season. Overview is the shape of it; Squad is the table of who is producing; Matches is every match you have recorded; AI reports is every report the AI has written for this team, newest first.
A player
Tap any row in the squad table. You get that player’s season score and its trend, their output per match, a workload flag if they have had no rest, and every appearance line by line.
Season
Cumulative points, who is scoring, who has improved most, and how evenly the squad has played. The minutes table is the one to show a parent who asks why their child is not playing.
Training
The week the AI wrote from your last match, broken into sessions. Log what you actually trained in the box under each session — that is what the AI reads when it writes next week, so a week you leave blank costs you a worse plan.
What the performance score means
Every player gets a 0–100 score per match. It is their production per minute — goals, assists, good passes, steals and dangerous plays count up; bad passes, lost balls, fouls and cards count down — measured against a fixed reference, then scaled to a full match.
Because the reference is fixed, the number is comparable across matches and across the season. A 74 in October means the same as a 74 in August. That is what makes the trend line and the season average honest.
It is not a mark out of ten and it is not a judgement of a player. A goalkeeper and a striker produce different things, and the score does not yet weight by position. Read it as "how much did this player do per minute", not "how good is this player".
A player with no logged actions has no score at all, rather than a zero — a zero would read like a bad performance when it actually means nobody tapped anything.
Worth knowing
- Every match writes a half-time and a full-time record. This area counts them as one match, so the totals here are the real ones.
- Numbers only appear where you logged something. A quiet match makes for a quiet page — the app never invents data.
- Your language follows you: change it here and the tracker and the website change too.
- A team’s page, a player’s page and a training week each have their own link. You can send one to an assistant coach.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a card for the trial?
No. The trial lasts 30 days and asks for no card. You only enter payment details if you decide to continue.
What happens to my data if the trial ends and I don’t subscribe?
Your teams, matches and reports are kept for 30 days after the trial ends, so you can subscribe and carry on where you left off. After those 30 days they are deleted.
How many teams can I manage?
Starter: 1 team or player (€4.99/month). Pro: up to 5 (€14.99/month). Elite: up to 10 (€24.99/month). Every feature is included in every plan.
Do I need to install anything?
No. kinetiQsport runs in the browser on your phone, tablet or computer. What you log on the touchline shows up later on any device.
Which languages does it support?
Eight: English, Spanish, Catalan, German, French, Italian, Dutch and Portuguese. AI reports are written in the language you choose.
Why does a player score 62 one week and 81 the next?
The score measures what the player produced per minute in that match against a fixed reference. A quiet match or more mistakes brings it down, so read the trend over several matches.
No card. If it doesn’t change how you coach, do nothing — the trial simply ends.
